Job Description

A K-12 educational institution in Norristown, PA is seeking a dedicated paraprofessional to support student learning throughout the school year. This contract position offers an opportunity to assist teachers in delivering instruction and providing individualized support to students across various grade levels.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting classroom teachers with instructional tasks and activities
• Supporting students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning objectives
• Supervising students during classroom activities, lunch, recess, and transitions
• Helping to maintain a positive and productive learning environment
• Collaborating with educators to implement lesson plans and adapt materials as needed
• Monitoring student progress and reporting observations to teaching staff

Desired qualifications and experience:

• Prior experience working with K-12 students in an educational or support role
