Under the supervision of the Security Manager and Security Supervisors, responsible for assuring the safety and security of the patrons attending events, employees, and facility assets. This is a part-time, casual position as needed based on events. Essential duties include providing excellent customer service, maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor, exercising restraint and patience with disruptive patrons, searching patrons and belongings using metal detectors and bag checks, assisting with ticket scanning, crowd management, directing patrons, communicating issues to supervisors, and following emergency protocols. Qualifications include being a NYS Licensed Security Guard, at least 18 years old, HS Diploma or GED, and a minimum of six months prior security experience. The role requires excellent customer service skills, professional presentation, ability to work irregular hours, and physical ability to move around the facility and stand for entire shifts. The position may involve exposure to adverse weather, loud noise, flashing lights, and darkened areas.
