The Practice Manager leads and optimizes department operations by developing programs and processes to enhance productivity and consistency. They collaborate with directors to analyze data, manage budgets, and oversee staffing, rewards, and disciplinary actions. This role requires transformational leadership to build alliances and drive strategic initiatives within a healthcare setting.
POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
The Practice Manager is responsible for developing and implementing programs and processes to achieve greater productivity, consistency and outcomes of the departments managed. This position works collaboratively with the department directors to meet and improve dashboard measures and other key strategic initiatives through data analysis, interpretation and recommendations for change. This position will develop departmental capital, operational budgets and provide input into the budgeting process. This position is responsible for employment, rewards/discipline and work assignments relative to key initiatives. This position provides transformational leadership and builds relationships, networks and alliances to reach strategic goals.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree required. A minimum of two (2) years' experience in business operations is preferred. Knowledge of lean training is preferred.
LICENSURECurrent RN licensure in the State of Texas. Must have a current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider or AHA BLS Instructor Provider card.
