Job Description

Our client, a leading organization in the scientific research and development sector, is seeking a LAB Technician to join their team. As a LAB Technician, you will be part of the Quality Control department supporting various product lines. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: LAB Technician

Location: Maplewood, MN

Pay Range: $19 per hour

What's the Job?

• Perform chemical, biological, physical, and/or mechanical analyses and tests to support research, development, or quality control of processes and products.
• Assist in compiling, analyzing, interpreting, and documenting test results.
• Follow defined procedures and methods while working independently or as part of a self-directed team.
• Operate laboratory equipment confidently and maintain accurate records in lab notebooks and digital systems.
• Support inspection procedures and contribute to product line evaluations.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a lab technician preferred, but open to new graduates with relevant academic background and internship experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate lab equipment.
• Detail-oriented and science-minded, with a keen eye for noticing small details and asking insightful questions.
• Ability to read, understand, and apply procedures and protocols accurately.
• Organized, proactive, and capable of working independently.
