About the position

We are seeking a dedicated Unloader/General Laborer to join our team in Pooler, Ga. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks in a warehouse setting, unloading, unwrapping pallets, cutting burlap sacks and emptying bags into processing pit and general clean up. This position is crucial to our operations as it ensures that goods are handled efficiently and safely. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Also moving 120lbs bags of beans and work in the pit. As part of our dedicated workforce, you will be expected to adhere to safety guidelines and procedures at all times, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. This is a food grade warehouse facility, and you will be required to adhere to the food-safe guidelines and procedures at all times. The Unloader/General Laborer will work full-time, with shifts scheduled from 7 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday with overtime opportunities. The successful candidate will be expected to perform general labor duties in a warehouse environment, which includes cutting burlap bags, emptying bags into processing pit, cutting bulk, keeping work environment clean. Experience in warehouse operations is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn. This position will work closely with the Warehouse personnel and Quality Team to ensure prompt completion of receiving and that FDA requirements are met. This position is in a food grade facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor duties in a warehouse environment
• Unloading, unwrapping, and emptying product into processing pit
• Using box cutter to open burlap sacks
• Cutting bulk - super sacks
• Lifting as required
• Keep a clean and safe working environment
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times
• moving and lifting 120lbs bags of beans

Requirements

• Ability to perform heavy lifting
• Experience in warehouse operations is preferred
• Knowledge of materials handling techniques
• Familiarity with warehouse management practices is a plus
• Ability to work under the supervision of a Warehouse Supervisor

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• This position will work in a warehouse environment.
• You will be expected to work a full-time schedule during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 hours with 1 hour lunch. OT is needed during peak seasons.
