We are seeking a driven and experienced Legal Assistant or Paralegal who is passionate about immigration law and thrives in a dynamic entertainment-focused setting.

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will support our team in all aspects of employment-based immigration cases, particularly O-1, P-1, EB-1, and other visa categories tailored to creative professionals. You will play a key role in case preparation, client communication, and ensuring timely and accurate filings with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and other governmental agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing and filing immigration petitions (including, but not limited to, O-1, O-2, P-1 and EB-1) and other applications with minimal supervision
• Drafting and organizing forms and documents as directed by the Managing Attorney
• Drafting legal memoranda, support letters, RFE responses, and other legal correspondence
• Communicating directly with clients regarding the collection of documents, visa instructions, approval notices, and managing case timelines
• Processing and organizing government correspondence, including receipt notices, approval notices, requests for evidence, etc.
• Maintaining accurate and consistent client records, and tracking deadlines using case management software
• Coordinating with third parties, including agents, managers, employers, and unions
• Ensuring high-quality work product and compliance with law firm and legal standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree with strong academic record is required; Paralegal certification is a plus
• Minimum of 2 – 4 years of experience in employment-based immigration law (with consistent exposure to O-1, P-1 and EB-1 visa classifications) is required
• Superb attention to detail
• Strong analytical, critical and quantitative thinking skills
• Exceptional writing, editing, time management and organizational skills
• Deep understanding of the evidentiary requirements for artist and entertainment visas
• Ability to handle a high-volume caseload with efficiency and attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to utilize office and case management software accurately and efficiently
• Professionalism, discretion, and strong interpersonal communication
• Passion for the arts, media, or entertainment industry is a plus
