Adheres at all times to Animal Welfare and Bio-Security protocols, guidelines, and procedures at all times. **Essential Responsibilities:** + Basic sow/gilt handling: feeding/watering/moving + Operating machinery and equipment + Assisting with farrowing ( **birth** ) + Assist with breeding (artificial insemination) + Handling and using chemicals + Vaccinating and medicating sows and piglets + Cleaning, afterbirth, dead pigs, scraping + Ability to use computer equipment: hand held devices and electronic wands + Work with Data Tech on getting info to them, Daily info, Corrections + Treatment cards + Recording on information on cards + Ear tagging + Safety meetings + Animal welfare adherence + Power washing + Scraping feeders + Check feed system and fill lines + Maintenance reported to management + Stun gun use and maintenance + Housekeeping duties + Any other tasks asked by Assistant or Manager **Required Qualifications:** + Local to Morrilton AR surrounding area + Regular and reliable transportation + Basic math & computer skills. + Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. + Ability to safely lift 50 pounds. + Attention to detail. + Ability to clean and organize work areas. + Interpersonal skills for working with other employees. + Available to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Familiarity with Bio-Security and Power washing + Familiarity with swine production + Previous farm experience, preferably swine experience.
